Remote Desktop Connection
What A Remote Desktop Connection Is:
A Remote Desktop Connection or Terminal Services Connection allows you to remotely
access your Windows area and some of the key software that you can access within
school from anywhere in the world with an live internet connection using the Microsoft
established RD protocol.
How To Connect:
- Simply click the icon at the bottom of the page named “Terminal”
- Select “Connect” when this warning message appears
- When prompted to enter a username and password use your school network credentials
making sure the domain is set to FMS. If the domain is anything other than FMS you
will need to enter FMS\ before your username.
- When asked if you want to accept the certificate being used by the program select
“Yes” and your terminal session will begin.
